On September 27th, Minus33 sent a member of our Marketing team, Meaghan Ruby and Lead Sock Designer Lawson Glidden to Estes Park, CO for the annual Outdoor Media Summit!
Outdoor Media Summit is an annual conference held for marketers, influencers, media, and brand representatives in the outdoor industry. "The show kicked off with a welcome reception at BOA Technology’s headquarters in Denver on Monday night, followed by two full days of presentations, panels, and networking opportunities." (OMS, 2021).
The highlight was for certain, the Scavenger Hunt around downtown Estes Park. Attendees participated in activities with sponsoring brands competing for prizes and various marketing opportunities. It was a fun way to see downtown Estes as well as familiarize everyone with the participating brands.
The last day concluded with a meeting with the Confluence of States, an organization holding its annual meeting of the States at the Ridgeline Hotel in Estes Park. Directors of Outdoor Recreation and attendees brainstormed ways to improve the outdoor industry and grow outdoor recreation as a whole.
