Men's Layering System
Early Fall Season
Starting Hunting season in the Early Fall Season, when the days are warmer and the nights cool off, the base layers of the system are the Woolverino Raglan T-Shirt and the Woolverino Boxer Briefs. The Woolverino Collection is made of a Nylon-core spun Wool, giving added durability and stretch. Pair these with a Waterproof shell and your favorite pants, the Mountain Heritage Micro weight Socks, and the Woolverino Multiclava for a headwear option. Wear your favorite waterproof shell jacket and pants to complete the system.
Fall/Early Winter Season
The mid layers, for when the temperatures finally cool off are the Best Selling Midweight 1/4 Zip and Midweight Kancamagus Bottoms. Layering these over the Woolverino base layers and under your shell and pants will keep you warm when you need it, but give you the option to unzip and cool off if you start to work up a sweat. The Ridge Cuff Midweight Beanie is the perfect lightweight hat to wear or keep in your pack for the cooler days, while the Mountain Heritage All-Season socks are meant to layer over your Micro weight socks or wear on their own.
Cold Winter Season
The insulating layer of the Hunting System includes the Expedition, heavy-weight layers. Layer the Wilderness Expedition Full Zip over your Woolverino base and Midweight mid-layers, with the option to unzip for venting if you start overheating, and easily take off if you need to. The Expedition ¾ Zip-off Bottoms are great for the same reasons - adding another layer of warmth when you need it, with the option to fully zip them off without having to undress or take off your boots or socks. Wear the Expedition Mountaineer socks, the heaviest and thickest merino wool socks, over your Micro weight or All Season socks to keep your feet warm and insulated no matter how cold your conditions might be. Finally, add the Kodiak Fleece Brushed Expedition Balaclava for additional insulation and coverage in the winter, featuring a breathable mouth panel for comfort and function, and ear holes for clear sound while out in the wild.
Women's Layering System
Early Fall Season
The Women’s base layers for Early Fall Season start with the same Woolverino collection as the Men’s. The Women’s Woolverino Wool V-Neck T-shirt and Women’s Woolverino Boyshorts have the same Woolverino technology - super lightweight, breathable, and durable. Pair these with a Waterproof shell and your favorite pants, the Mountain Heritage Micro weight Socks, and the Woolverino Multiclava for a headwear option.
Fall/Early Winter Season
The Best Selling Midweight collection is the mid layer over your base layers when temperatures are cooler. The Midweight ¼ Zip and Midweight Franconia Bottoms are meant to be layered over your Woolverino base layers and under your shell pants and Waterproof jackets. The Ridge Cuff Midweight Beanie is the best lightweight hat to wear or keep in your pack for colder days. Layer the Mountain Heritage All-Season socks over your Micro weight socks or wear them on their own.
Cold Winter Season
The insulating layer of the Hunting System includes the Expedition, heavy-weight layers. Layer Wilderness Expedition Full Zip over your Woolverino base and Midweight mid layers, with the option to unzip for venting if you start overheating, and easily take off if you need to. The Expedition High Rise Leggings are great for the same reasons - adding another layer of warmth when you need it while fitting like a true legging bottom. Wear the Expedition Mountaineer socks, our heaviest and thickest merino wool socks, over your Micro weight or All Season socks, and keep your feet warm and insulated no matter how cold your conditions might be. Finally, add the Kodiak Fleece Brushed Expedition Balaclava for additional insulation and coverage in the winter, featuring a breathable mouth panel for comfort and function, and ear holes for clear sound while out in the wild.
This layering system should help you stay warm and prepared no matter what season you're hunting in or the conditions. Each piece is versatile and will help keep you hunting longer!
