why merino wool
Minus33 Merino Wool regulates the amount of moisture on your skin by absorbing any moisture or sweat on your body. Then, the absorbed moisture evaporates out of the fabric into the atmosphere.
Merino Wool fibers naturally reject any bacteria in moisture or sweat as it is wicked away, so foot fungus and smelly odor will not be a problem while wearing our products.
Insulates When Wet
Wool will absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet or clammy. If you do get wet, wool will insulate you better than cotton or polyester materials.
Merino Wool insulates against high temperatures and does not readily catch fire. If it does, it self-extinguishes. When Merino burns, it doesn’t melt and stick to the skin like synthetic fabrics do.
Don’t worry about sunburn on a sunny day summiting a peak. Lightweight layers have a UPF rating of 25. Midweight and Expedition have a UPF rating of 50+.
Merino Wool has a low environmental footprint and naturally returns to the elements. Shear a merino sheep in the morning, and in the afternoon they’re happily nibbling their way towards renewing next season’s clip.
MACHINE WASH AND DRY
Total Easy Care (TEC) Merino apparel is designed for today's busy lifestyle. Total Easy Care Merino garments are all machine-washable, and are suitable for tumble drying.
Even after frequent laundering they retain an 'as new' appearance. They won't shrink, lose their shape, fade or color-bleed. They remain soft and comfortable for the life of the garment.
These are the best base layer pants I have ever used. I wear them under athletic shorts for trail runs. They wick moisture well and still keep your legs warm. The blended material is very soft and comfortable for long periods of time. I didn't notice any chafing while using them.
Happy to hear that our Woolverino Men's Wool Flyless Running Tight - Midweight is a great fit. They are one of my favorite pieces!
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review!
I have used these in hiking and running. Main layer with shorts on for running, into the mid-20s. Base layer with thin hiking pants on in similar temps. Very warm. Excellent quality and comfort.
Thank you for the great review, keep warm!
I have never experienced this level of stress free running and comfort whilst running in cold weather until I got the Flyless running tight. It is a must have item.
We are very happy to hear how well our Flyless Running Tights are working out for you. Happy running!!!
These pants are great for wearing around the house on those chilly days. A simple cold rinse and cool tumble dry freshens them up and they stay the same size. Of course you can add additional pants over them for more warmth or doing heavy chores if needed. The XXL is a good fit for those who need more room for the mature body. A good purchase.
Great fit but not as warm as I'd like.
