Fit FAQs

What if I am between sizes?

If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up or down based on what fit type you would prefer, and based on how you plan to wear the piece. Our knitted merino is stretchy and you could realistically go with either size. If you would prefer an Athletic fit, size down. If you prefer a Regular or Relaxed fit, size up.

Do I need to size up/down to layer?

Generally, no, you do not need to purchase a different size than normal. Our base layers are designed to fit right into your current layering system. They are also designed to work with other products in our line, too. You may wish to adjust your sizing if you plan to wear one of our garments in a way that it is not intended, if that's the case please feel free to contact our customer service team for help.

Does your clothing run true to size?

Yes, our clothing runs true to size and is sized similar to most other American brands. If a sizing discrepancy is discovered, you will see fit advice in that product's specific listing.

Moisture Wicking

Minus33 Merino Wool regulates the amount of moisture on your skin by absorbing any moisture or sweat on your body. Then, the absorbed moisture evaporates out of the fabric into the atmosphere.

Anti-Microbial

Merino Wool fibers naturally reject any bacteria in moisture or sweat as it is wicked away, so foot fungus and smelly odor will not be a problem while wearing our products.

Insulates When Wet

Wool will absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet or clammy. If you do get wet, wool will insulate you better than cotton or polyester materials.

Fire Resistant

Merino Wool insulates against high temperatures and does not readily catch fire. If it does, it self-extinguishes. When Merino burns, it doesn’t melt and stick to the skin like synthetic fabrics do.

First of all, I love wool, and the best wool long underwear I've bought has been minus 33. I have several pairs.they are made well, and hold up the longest. I bought the Merino wool tights this time,as Id like to wear well biking,or other outdoor things,I also noticed that they have a small percentage of nylon which I hope might add to additional strength in the knees. That's where mine always wear through first. Anyway great product!

Hey Robert!
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! The Nylon and Spandex were added to the fabric for some added durability and strength. You will have to let us know how the knees hold up for your acitivities!

Great fit and good for base layering

These are the best base layer pants I have ever used. I wear them under athletic shorts for trail runs. They wick moisture well and still keep your legs warm. The blended material is very soft and comfortable for long periods of time. I didn't notice any chafing while using them.

Julian,

Happy to hear that our Woolverino Men's Wool Flyless Running Tight - Midweight is a great fit. They are one of my favorite pieces!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review!

Nice and warm

I have used these in hiking and running. Main layer with shorts on for running, into the mid-20s. Base layer with thin hiking pants on in similar temps. Very warm. Excellent quality and comfort.

Beau,

Thank you for the great review, keep warm!
