Did you know that in the UK a turtleneck is called a polo neck? And in Australia and New Zealand, it’s called a Skivvy? We say, call it whatever you want, but make sure you have one! Great for skiing, hunting, fishing, hiking, or just plain old taking your dog for a walk. You’ll grow to love this Merino turtleneck when you need a little extra something to keep your neck warm.

      Why Merino Wool?

      Moisture Wicking

Minus33 Merino Wool regulates the amount of moisture on your skin by absorbing any moisture or sweat on your body. Then, the absorbed moisture evaporates out of the fabric into the atmosphere.

      Anti-Microbial

Merino Wool fibers naturally reject any bacteria in moisture or sweat as it is wicked away, so foot fungus and smelly odor will not be a problem while wearing our products.

      Insulates When Wet

Wool will absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet or clammy. If you do get wet, wool will insulate you better than cotton or polyester materials.

      Fire Resistant

Merino Wool insulates against high temperatures and does not readily catch fire. If it does, it self-extinguishes. When Merino burns, it doesn’t melt and stick to the skin like synthetic fabrics do.

      UV Protection

Don’t worry about sunburn on a sunny day summiting a peak. Lightweight layers have a UPF rating of 25. Midweight and Expedition have a UPF rating of 50+.

      Renewable

Merino Wool has a low environmental footprint and naturally returns to the elements. Shear a merino sheep in the morning, and in the afternoon they’re happily nibbling their way towards renewing next season’s clip.

Look like Steve Jobs, feel like a sheep is hugging you.

Nobody wears turtlenecks anymore, and I've never understood why. Easy money the best turtlenecks on the market, the wool is super comfortable, not even the tiniest bit scratchy. It has a better feel than even brand new polyester sheets, and will last much longer too. Warmth is exactly what you’d expect given the intermediate weight of the fabric. I get lots of compliments on these from my coworkers, especially given that in the covid age of zoom calls, the only fashion choices that matter are from the shoulder and up, and trust me, a turtleneck is quite a statement. To sum up, they’re an ever-fashionable, well constructed, high quality mid layer that will have you warm on the slopes, in the mountains, or on morning walks, while also having you looking svelte and sophisticated on the patio at (insert your favorite local yuppie bar or brewery’s name here). Highly recommend.

What a great review! Got a chuckle from it! Thank you!

      great service/great product

First the service. Thank you for the phone call letting me know the color I originally ordered was out of stock. Since color wasn't an issue here, I was able to get the item shipped immediately.
The product. I love it! I now have 4 of the mid weight 1/4 zip shirts that I use as a base garment. I am out doors in the Maine winter a lot and that base layer is great. I ordered the turtle neck for my partner, a petite woman. She loves it! Only draw back was not being able to find a turtle neck sized for a small woman. Perhaps that will change. Thanks for the great products.

Thank you for sharing your experiences with us so far! I've passed the feedback for a women's turtle neck! We'll see what the future brings.

      Nice material just wrong fit

I was hoping these turtlenecks would fit my husband, yet they were way too large and the neck was a bit floppy. I had to send them back. My husband always wears a medium, yet in these they were way way tooo large for him in a size medium...

I'm sorry that these didn't quite hit the mark for you Lisa. I hope we can do better for you in the future!
