    Elisha - :

If you are looking for a merino wool hat than you should buy here. I had this hat for a while now and it is a beanie I wear everywhere I need. I have checked Smartwool, Woolx, Icebreaker and other companies but here it is the cheapest and has very good quality and exceptional comfort. Thanks to Minus33, you can have yourself an inexpensive yet soft, natural, warm, comfortable, and durable hat.

Outstanding piece of gear. For the past two years, I've been wearing a tan beanie in the field as military survival instructor. I have a pile of other wool and synthetic hats, but this one beats them out. It is just stretchy enough to stay put without squeezing my head. It is low profile, which is great when fitting under helmets and hoods. Hats may seem boring, but when it is -30 degrees your noggin is cozy, they are priceless. I would be very sad if I lost this beanie and was unable to replace it.

Great beanie! I have a bunch of beanies bought looking for the perfect one and this is it. Never overheats even when indoors and still keeps my head warm when below zero. Only downside is in high winds and cold it can get a little breezy but that's what hoods are for. Can't recommend this higher if you want a versitile and comfortable beanie.

I bought this hat on Amazon and I can't tell you how impressed I was. It was not only really soft and comfortable to wear but incredibly warm. I used it on a backcountry hiking trip in Montana and it performed flawlessly. It regulated temperature really well and was quick to dry. I'm definitely going to buy another one.

    Stephen D Edson - :

I could not be happier with this hat. It is a light weight warm enough hat. Its a hat that can be left on all day and not ever get unconfortable. Its a hat that even if it gets damp or wet will say warm and will dry while wearing it. If someone is looking for a bulky super warm hat then this is not the one. It might be a good under layer for a hat like that. After wearing the hat for a few weeks I noticed that it was getting looser, but after washing it I was happy to find that it returned to its former size. I also noticed that it was slightly warmer after after washing. I looked at it and I believe that the fabric got just slightly thicker after washing almost like it felted slightly. I've washed it twice now and wear it daily. The color has not faded and it has not pilled up. The fabric feals like a heavy weight, double layer jersey knit. If I ever lose it (beacause I dont forsee it really wearing out) ill buy another.

    Al Roper - :

Very comfortable and lightweight so it’s great for a wide range of activities. You can roll it up or use the full length to cover your ears when needed. Does a good job of blocking the wind as well.

My son, who works in concrete construction, went nuts over this hat. He liked it, because it fit well under his safety helmet.

Soft yet lightweight this beanie is my go to. When I wear it snowboarding it wicks all the sweat from my head and neck keeping my dry and warm.

love this beanie, I took it out for a couple of snow hikes and it kept me warm the entire time, It’s light weight, comfortable, and just long enough for me to cover my eyes when I sleep. I wear this almost everyday and it has kept its elasticity throughout the entire time. I will definitely be back to get more from you guys.

Total Easy Care
Total Easy Care TEC

Total Easy Care (TEC) Merino apparel is designed for today’s busy lifestyle. Total Easy Care Merino garments are all machine-washable, and are suitable for tumble drying. Even after frequent laundering they retain an ‘as new’ appearance. They won’t shrink, lose their shape, fade or color-bleed. They remain soft and comfortable for the life of the garment. TEC is a textile innovation used by Minus33 that was developed by the Woolmark Company.

Moisture Wicking
Moisture Wicking

Minus33 Merino Wool regulates the amount of moisture on your skin by absorbing any moisture or sweat on your body. Then, the absorbed moisture evaporates out of the fabric into the atmosphere. Wool is a classic natural insulator, but is just as effective in warmer weather due to its rapid moisture wicking ability. Learn more about wool properties.

Anti-Microbial and Odor Resistant
Anti Microbial and Odor Resistant

With less moisture comes less odor. Minus33 Merino Wool resists against microbes and odor, so foot fungus and smelly odor will NOT be a problem while wearing our products. Merino Wool fibers naturally reject any bacteria in moisture or sweat as it is wicked away. This means you don’t have to wash wool as often. Less laundry means less water being used, benefiting our planet. Learn more about wool properties.

Insulates When Wet
Insulates When Wet

Wool will absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet or clammy. If you do get wet, whether it be from sweat, weather, or water bodies, wool will insulate you better than cotton or polyester materials. This is especially important if you are in a survival situation, and can help prevent or delay hypothermia depending on the conditions. Learn more about wool properties.

Fire Resistant
Fire Resistant

Merino Wool insulates against high temperatures and does not readily catch fire. If it does, it self-extinguishes. When Merino burns, it doesn’t melt and stick to the skin like synthetic fabrics do. For this reason, merino is popular among military, firefighting, and law enforcement communities. Learn more about wool properties.
