    Kell - :

I purchased these for my mother to keep in her disaster supplies kit. When the weather got cold, I found that she was sleeping in them because they are warmer than her pajamas. She also took to wearing them around the house under her jeans. I just ordered two more so her original pair will be there in case of an emergency. THANK YOU for making these in XX-Large. My mother is 5'3" and these are a little long on her but it is much better than if i were forced to buy mens.

    Rebecca Frye - :

Smashing product! I really like these long underwear! They're tight enough around the legs to fit tight-ish pants overtop, and loose enough in crotch area so uncomfortable bunching doesn't occur. They keep me warm in high winds outdoors, or in chilly indoor barn conditions. Even after I've actively sweat in them while picking manure, they don't stink of anything afterwards, not even cow poo.

I bought these leggings for my sisters who rave about them. They returned the favor and bought me a pair. I have become a Minus 33 devotee. By far the most climate proven, comfortable, easiest to care for, leggings I have ever owned. Glad my sisters turned me on to this brand. I will be a returning customer

I have orders tops, bottoms & a balaclava from Minus 33. Everything has been top notch products! I work outside & the top and bottoms keep me warm without being too bulky under my uniform. I would highly recommend Minus 33 products to anyone!

    Frances - :

I love my Minus33 Franconia mid-weight wool bottoms. They are worn to yoga classes, grocery shopping, air flights, garden activities, etc.. The comfort level is unmatched because of the softness of the wool and it’s ability to breath. I have snagged them pruning roses and did not mend them in a timely manner, so one pair is designated for nonpublic appearances. I selected the extra large for a relaxed fit for my 5’8” 155# frame since they are used not as underwear.

Base Layer
Base Layer

Think of your Base Layer as your second skin. These are your first layers on and your last layers off. These foundation layers should be thermal, moisture-wicking, and breathable. Proper layering of your garments is very important and in extreme cases may save your life. Consider your activities carefully and plan for the unexpected. Learn more about layering.

Mid Layer
Mid Layer

The Mid Layer is your second layer. It should provide insulation, and be breathable. It can also be an outer layer if weather permits. Proper layering of your garments is very important and in extreme cases may save your life. Consider your activities carefully and plan for the unexpected. Learn more about layering.

Regular Fit
Regular Fit

Standard fit with a little bit of room, but not baggy. Works best as a base layer, or when worn alone. Can also be worn as a mid or insulating layer. If you are looking for a tighter, athletic fit, try going to the next size down. Learn About Fit & Sizing.

Flat Lock Seams
Flat Lock Seams

Flat lock seams allow for ultimate comfort, preventing chafing and allowing your clothes to move with you. Flat lock seams are stronger, helping your garments last.

A gusset is a diamond shaped piece of fabric sewn into a garment to add breadth or reduce stress in a particular area. Common areas where gussets can be found are at the shoulders, underarms, hem, and crotch.

Total Easy Care
Total Easy Care TEC

Total Easy Care (TEC) Merino apparel is designed for today’s busy lifestyle. Total Easy Care Merino garments are all machine-washable, and are suitable for tumble drying. Even after frequent laundering they retain an ‘as new’ appearance. They won’t shrink, lose their shape, fade or color-bleed. They remain soft and comfortable for the life of the garment. TEC is a textile innovation used by Minus33 that was developed by the Woolmark Company.

High Rise
High Rise

This garment has a high rise, which sits at or just below the belly button.

Moisture Wicking
Moisture Wicking

Minus33 Merino Wool regulates the amount of moisture on your skin by absorbing any moisture or sweat on your body. Then, the absorbed moisture evaporates out of the fabric into the atmosphere. Wool is a classic natural insulator, but is just as effective in warmer weather due to its rapid moisture wicking ability. Learn more about wool properties.

Anti-Microbial and Odor Resistant
Anti Microbial and Odor Resistant

With less moisture comes less odor. Minus33 Merino Wool resists against microbes and odor, so foot fungus and smelly odor will NOT be a problem while wearing our products. Merino Wool fibers naturally reject any bacteria in moisture or sweat as it is wicked away. This means you don’t have to wash wool as often. Less laundry means less water being used, benefiting our planet. Learn more about wool properties.

Insulates When Wet
Insulates When Wet

Wool will absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet or clammy. If you do get wet, whether it be from sweat, weather, or water bodies, wool will insulate you better than cotton or polyester materials. This is especially important if you are in a survival situation, and can help prevent or delay hypothermia depending on the conditions. Learn more about wool properties.

Fire Resistant
Fire Resistant

Merino Wool insulates against high temperatures and does not readily catch fire. If it does, it self-extinguishes. When Merino burns, it doesn’t melt and stick to the skin like synthetic fabrics do. For this reason, merino is popular among military, firefighting, and law enforcement communities. Learn more about wool properties.
