    Austin - :

I bought two of these shirts and I cannot say much more than, they just work. They help wick sweat, are breathable, light, and just work. They're high quality and in my opinion worth the money. The one thing I'll note is that you should make sure you get the sizing right as it can be a little odd. Other than that I have no literally no complaints.

    Chad - :

Wear this as a base layer all winter and a stand-alone all summer up here in Canada. This shirt has some of the finest, softest and highest quality merino I’ve seen from any brand. Definitely beats out it’s competitors in fabric quality. Only complaints are the neck fit is a little weird, the colours could use a style update, and I found a random hole in the middle of the shirt when it was almost new :/ (possibly my fault from bush trudging). All minor downsides to a truly wonderful garment. Did I mention SOFT??

  3. 5 out of 5

    Trevor - :

I bought one of these for a thru-hike, it managed to last the entire trip, plus the next summers! It has a bit of character now, but I am amazed at how well it continues to hold up after over 170 days on the trail.

    Oliver Mueller - :

I wore one of these for 3 days straight while hiking in the Olympic Mountains. I got sweaty in the sun and cold in the shaded valleys. This shirt had no odor and worked great as I transitioned thru different temperatures. I'm super happy with it and will buy more and perhaps a long sleeve.

Base Layer
Base Layer

Think of your Base Layer as your second skin. These are your first layers on and your last layers off. These foundation layers should be thermal, moisture-wicking, and breathable. Proper layering of your garments is very important and in extreme cases may save your life. Consider your activities carefully and plan for the unexpected. Learn more about layering.

Regular Fit
Regular Fit

Standard fit with a little bit of room, but not baggy. Works best as a base layer, or when worn alone. Can also be worn as a mid or insulating layer. If you are looking for a tighter, athletic fit, try going to the next size down. Learn About Fit & Sizing.

Tagless Construction
Tagless Construction

Tagless labeling ends the need for a traditional tag. Tagless garments allow for increased comfort by eliminating the itching and scratching associated with a traditional tag.

Flat Lock Seams
Flat Lock Seams

Flat lock seams allow for ultimate comfort, preventing chafing and allowing your clothes to move with you. Flat lock seams are stronger, helping your garments last.

Total Easy Care
Total Easy Care TEC

Total Easy Care (TEC) Merino apparel is designed for today’s busy lifestyle. Total Easy Care Merino garments are all machine-washable, and are suitable for tumble drying. Even after frequent laundering they retain an ‘as new’ appearance. They won’t shrink, lose their shape, fade or color-bleed. They remain soft and comfortable for the life of the garment. TEC is a textile innovation used by Minus33 that was developed by the Woolmark Company.

Moisture Wicking
Moisture Wicking

Minus33 Merino Wool regulates the amount of moisture on your skin by absorbing any moisture or sweat on your body. Then, the absorbed moisture evaporates out of the fabric into the atmosphere. Wool is a classic natural insulator, but is just as effective in warmer weather due to its rapid moisture wicking ability. Learn more about wool properties.

Anti-Microbial and Odor Resistant
Anti Microbial and Odor Resistant

With less moisture comes less odor. Minus33 Merino Wool resists against microbes and odor, so foot fungus and smelly odor will NOT be a problem while wearing our products. Merino Wool fibers naturally reject any bacteria in moisture or sweat as it is wicked away. This means you don’t have to wash wool as often. Less laundry means less water being used, benefiting our planet. Learn more about wool properties.

Insulates When Wet
Insulates When Wet

Wool will absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet or clammy. If you do get wet, whether it be from sweat, weather, or water bodies, wool will insulate you better than cotton or polyester materials. This is especially important if you are in a survival situation, and can help prevent or delay hypothermia depending on the conditions. Learn more about wool properties.

Fire Resistant
Fire Resistant

Merino Wool insulates against high temperatures and does not readily catch fire. If it does, it self-extinguishes. When Merino burns, it doesn’t melt and stick to the skin like synthetic fabrics do. For this reason, merino is popular among military, firefighting, and law enforcement communities. Learn more about wool properties.
