Why Merino Wool?
Core Spun Technology
Core Spun yarn provides extra durability while still offering merino's properties next to the skin. The nylon inner core is wrapped with Merino Wool and a touch of spandex for stretch.
Minus33 Merino Wool regulates the amount of moisture on your skin by absorbing any moisture or sweat on your body. Then, the absorbed moisture evaporates out of the fabric into the atmosphere.
Merino Wool fibers naturally reject any bacteria in moisture or sweat as it is wicked away, so foot fungus and smelly odor will not be a problem while wearing our products.
Insulates When Wet
Wool will absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet or clammy. If you do get wet, wool will insulate you better than cotton or polyester materials.
Don’t worry about sunburn on a sunny day summiting a peak. Lightweight layers have a UPF rating of 25. Midweight and Expedition have a UPF rating of 50+.
Merino Wool has a low environmental footprint and naturally returns to the elements. Shear a merino sheep in the morning, and in the afternoon they’re happily nibbling their way towards renewing next season’s clip.
MACHINE WASH AND DRY
Total Easy Care (TEC) Merino apparel is designed for today's busy lifestyle. Total Easy Care Merino garments are all machine-washable, and are suitable for tumble drying.
Even after frequent laundering they retain an 'as new' appearance. They won't shrink, lose their shape, fade or color-bleed. They remain soft and comfortable for the life of the garment.
I'm female, and I bought a pair of these boxer shorts for sleeping. They are featherweight comfortable, they don't bind and they are very lightweight for travel. I love them, and I'll be buying another pair. One thought: I bought a Medium. I will buy my next pair in a Large. If the guy's Medium is JUST right for me, a not-very-large woman (5 feet, 5.5 inches tall, Size Small or Size 6 pants), then these must run small for men. The Medium definitely fits, but if you like a looser fit, a Large may be the better pick. But in every other way, I think I have solved my long quest for comfortable sleepwear that gives me more breathing room than traditional women's pajamas.
We are pleased to hear comfortable you find your Minus33 boxers to sleep in. Thank you for the great review and happy snoozing!
These boxers are lightweight and sizing is right on. I have not had a chance to use them on a multi day hike yet but from continual daily use now, they appear that they will work just fine.
We are glad to hear that your Minus33 Men's Boxers fit you well and that you like them. Thank you for the great review and hike safely.
I ordered 1 pair to test. I was impressed so I ordered 3 more. They are comfortable and fit well.
I purchased 3 pairs of under $50 boxers at the same time in mid-2021. The Minus 33 are the most true to size and stretch out less than the others. Will be buying more!
