USA Luge 6th in Team Relay and 6th overall in tight World Cup chase

Hamlin 8th in last singles race and 4th in final tour standings

 

ALTENBERG, Germany – In a team relay event that could have gone any way for five nations, Latvia and Russia departed Altenberg Sunday with Viessmann World Cup crystal globes, while Austria, Canada and the United States were left to lament a close chase over the six events that came down to the final day.

Mortensen and Terdiman 2nd in Altenberg and 3rd in overall World Cup

ALTENBERG, Germany – The USA Luge doubles team of Matt Mortensen and Jayson Terdiman concluded the Viessmann World Cup season Saturday with a silver medal in Altenberg, Germany and finished in third place in the overall tour standings. It was the third medal (two silver, one bronze) in their third season together.
