The outdoors provides a strong challenge to the body and mind and endurance hiking truly tests the limits of one’s mental stamina. I have section hiked much of the Appalachian Trail – including a recent 75 mile hike from Davenport Gap to Fontana Dam in less than 3 days.
I am taking a break from my career to thru-hike the Pacific Crest Trail in 2018 and look to set off in April of 2018. I am a Merinoholic because the products are efficient and the wool is top of the line. I use the lightweight baselayer on many of my hikes because it is lightweight, reduces odor, and is cost-friendly.
In my free time, I play competitive rugby and no-gi ji-jitsu. I look forward to continuing my use of Minus33 products and sharing the great benefits that come with these products on a daily hike, section-hike, or on a thru-hike.
